Peter said in Acts 4:10-12 "let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead-by this name this man stands here before you in good health. Trust in Him at all times, O people Pour out your heart before Him God is a refuge for us. On God my salvation and my glory rest The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. He only is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold I shall not be shaken. Psalm 62:5-8 My soul, wait in silence for God only, for my hope is from Him. Jeremiah 48:7 "For because of your trust in your own achievements and treasures, even you yourself will be captured And Chemosh will go off into exile together with his priests and his princes."
This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. Romans 3:21-26 But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe for there is no distinction for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. 1 Corinthian 3:11 For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
